Abstract:【Abstract】 Aim To compare the success rate and the incidence of complications together with the time spent of two kinds of femoral artery punctures methods in the preparation of acute myocardial infarction mode. Methods Sixteen mini-pigs were randomly divided into two groups:the ultrasound-guided puncture group (n=8) and the puncture group under direct vision by cutting(n=8).Th e related success rate and the incidence of complications together with the time spent of both groups were investigated. Results The success rate and incidence of infection in two goups are 100% and 0% respectively.Major bleeding complications in the puncture group under direct vision by cutting was lower significantly compared with the control group(P<0.O5). The time spent were also lower significantly compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The femoral artery punctures methods under direct vision by cutting is a safe and efective method, also a relatively time saving method.
