    Abstract:

    Objective Hepatic cirrhosis is a common severe disease among people. Animal models of hepatic cirrhosis may provide an important basis for studies on this disease. An appropriate animal model should be chosen according to the aim of research. In this paper several models of hepatic cirrhosis in rats were reviewed and their features were compared.
