    Abstract:

Objective To investigate the cell compatibility of materials for dermis and to provide data for tissue engineering skin. Methods Four scaffolds which including collagen sponge, gelatin sponge, Poly lactic acid_co_glycolic acid(PLGA) and poly 3_hydroxybutyric acid_co_3_hydroxyvaleric acid(PHBV) were prepared and cocultured with fibroblast or ES_derived epidermal stem cells in vitro. The cell compatibility was estimated through the adhesion rate and proliferation rate to fibroblast and the adhesion rate to ES_derived epidermal stem cells.Result Fibroblast and ES_derived epidermal stem cells all could adhere and survive in the four porous scaffolds and the fibroblast could proliferate, and the proliferation rate were higher in collagen sponge,PHBV and PLGA than in gelatin sponge. Conclusion The cell compatiblility is good in the four dermal scaffolds and suitable for constructure the new tissue engineering skin.
