Objective A vaccine with good immunogenicity, high safety and ideal effectiveness is crucial for vaccination against HIV. Scientists in China have also developed various vaccines, but still need to be further tested. In this review, the techniques and strategies related to preventive and therapeutic vaccines are summarized and introduced to readers.
