    Abstract:

The weight and length of the main organa of spontaneous NIDDM chinese hamsters were direct measured and compared with mormal control inbred-lines. The results showed that averageabsolute weight and relative weight of heart, liver and kidney of isonymous sPOntaneous NIDDMchinese hamsters were all higher than that of normal inbred-lines (P< 0. 05 or < 0. 01), andlength of digestive tubes were longer than that of control too, especially in intestinum angustums(P<0. 01 ). This suggested that changes on weight of heart, liver and kidney and length of intestinum angustums were maybe relative to NIDDM.
