    Abstract:

Three species of the genus Syphacia females, from mice, rats and the golden hamster, were described with scanning electron microscopy. There are six papillaes on the cephalic extremities of the S.obvelata and S. mesocriceti. Only four papillaes are seen on the S.muris, having many micro-pore instead of other two papillaes and on the surface of the body of S.muris.No lateral alae prominent is the different beyween S.muris and other two species.S.obvelata is characterized by a lip-like vulva.
