ObjectiveThe Lats1 gene knockout mice were selected as an example to study the technology on germplasm storage of the genetic mice in Resource Bank of National Genetic Mice. Methods Techniques such as embryonic transplantation, genotype and embryo cryopreservation were applied. Result 24 Lats +/- mice were got. After reproduction, 110 embryos were frozen in resource bank. Conclusion The above -mentioned approaches can insure the successful germplasm storage of Lats1 gene knockout mice in resource bank.
