    Abstract:

his study dealed with neonats cord plasma to treat rat with experi-mental hepatic failure, and compared with the effect of treatment withadult plasma. The result showed that death rate, serum alanine amino-transferase(ALT) and total bilirubin(TBIL) level were significantly lowerand A_fetoprotein (AFP) was significantly higher in neonate cord plasmagroup than those in adult plasma group ( P<0.05 ) . The histopathology ofthe liver indicated that there were action of decreasing pathologic damageand quickly repairing necrotic hapatocytes in the neonate cord plasma.Theabove result revealed that neonate cord plasma contains factors of promo-ting hepatocyte regeneration and can increase markedly curative effect ofsurvival rate in rat with experimental hepatic failure.
