Abstract:In response to the shortcomings of the traditional "Comparative Medicine" course teaching, such as "emphasizing theory while neglecting practice" and "single evaluation form", the "Experimental Animal Disease Models" course, based on the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) concept, has constructed a "three-dimensional integrated" teaching model: integration of theory, virtual simulation, and practice, multi-dimensional dynamic assessment, and full integration of animal welfare and ideological education throughout the process.. Through innovative approaches such as virtual simulation experiments, case repository development, and ethical debate competitions, the course enhances students' research design capabilities and animal welfare awareness, offering a new paradigm for cultivating life science professionals with innovative skills and humanistic values.
