    Abstract:

Objective To discuss the method of establishment of cardiac ischemic model in rats. Methods The left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) was ligated to form an ischemic area which located at the anterolateral left ventricular free wall, accounting for 20%-50% of it. Results\ 85 animals' LAD were stitched, and 74 survived. Among these survived animals, 60 with heart dysfunction were confirmed as qualified ischemic model by operative observation, electrocardiogram and histopathology. Conclusion\ This method can easily create the ischemic heart model with acceptable death rate, but the model's stability is varying, which requires more candidate samples.
