| Collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) is a widely-used experimental animal model o f human rheumatoid arthritis(RA) which shares certain features with RA, such as in pathogenesis and pathology. Recent research demonstrates that some activated T cells are critical to the development of CIA, especially during the initial ph ase. All suggests that CIA is kind of dominant T cell-mediated autoimmune disea se. |
