Abstract:
      e studied the effect of low-dose lithium carbonate for three monthson spontaneous hereditary diabetic model of chinese hamster (NIDDMj,applying the insulin-sensitivity indez t IAI 3 -the reverse of fasting plasmaglucose and insulin product for evaluationof lithium effect.The resultsshowed that blood glucose level was decreased, and no changes of bloodinsulin and insu lin-sensitivity increased
