    Abstract:

    T he breeding, reproduction and care for infants of the saddle back tamarin (Saguinus fuscicollis) in captivity have been studied. The young tamarin has been grown up in the laboratory at first in China. The above resuits indicated that successful reproduction and growth of young tamarins at suitable temperature, relative humidity, nutriment, fluorescent light mimicking the full daylight spectrum, and better care are necessary.
